Laura Lee Fraleigh, 50, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on February 9, 2023, at home.
Born February 3, 1973, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Frederick and Donna M. Sloniker Fraleigh. Her mother survives in Hyde Park and her father predeceased her on October 1, 1986.
Laura was a 1991 graduate of F. D. Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, and she enjoyed Diamond Painting and watching movies, especially horror movies.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her three children, Lakoya McGue, Nickolas Prinzivalli, and Alexandria Prinzivalli, all of Hyde Park.
Laura is also survived by her sister, Nancy Fraleigh; two brothers, David and Michael Fraleigh; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her Godmother, Connie Haver, of Florida.
A period of visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM, Thursday, February 16th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Rev. Kregg Gabor will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
