Zach L. Redden, 38, passed away Saturday July 4, 2026, at the Pomona Valley Medical Center in Pomona, CA following a hit and run motorcycle accident. He was born on July 11, 1987, in Fort Morgan, CO to Larry and Kim Redden. Zach lived in the Brush community most of his life, with the last few years he spent time in California for Health reasons.
Zach graduated from Brush High School in May 2005. After high school, he attended Morgan Community College, where he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Auto Body and graduated in May 2006.
Throughout his life, Zach held a variety of jobs, most recently working as an inspector. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed riding with his friends. During his high school years, he also loved drag racing at Julesburg Dragway alongside his family, creating lasting memories that reflected his enthusiasm for motorsports.
Zach is survived by his two boys, Zachary L. Redden II and Matthew L. Redden; his mother, Kim Redden; fiancé, Melanie Windhorst; sister, LaNette Redden; God-mother Brenda Tracy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Redden; grandparents, Iona and Leonard Redden, Don and Gloria Beckius; and God parents, Larry and Linda Kolman.
A funeral service to honor Zach’s life will be held August 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Brush City Park Gazebo. Please wear Dallas Cowboys Blue to honor Zach.
Following the service, family is invited to enjoy a reception at the Moose Lodge Picnic Shelter at the City Park. Private interment will be at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
