Peggy Coreana Sheppard, age 69 of Harrison, passed away, January 1, 2021 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1951 in Harrison to James Alva Arnold and Opal Agnes Frederick.
Peggy grew up attending Silver Valley Church and married James E. Sheppard in February of 1966. She was the second baby born in the Boone County Hospital. She enjoyed and was well known for quilting. Her quilts are on display worldwide.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, granddaughter Julia Anderson, great-grandson Hunter Long and a brother James R. Arnold. She is survived by her sons James and Tracy Sheppard, daughter Laurice Anderson, five sisters and brothers-in-law: Shirley and Don Akins, Bobbie and Roger Hampton, Ann Wilkinson, Linda Riddle and LaVerne and Ron Daniels, her brother and sister-in-law Larry and Barbara Arnold, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
